How I handle the data of visitors and of people who write to me.
Updated on 30 October 2026Who handles your data
The data controller is Giulio Palumbo Schiavone, photographer, VAT no. 09223291213, Via Emanuele Gianturco 30, 80046 San Giorgio a Cremano (NA), Italy. For any question about your data you can write to me or reach me on WhatsApp.
What data I process and why
Enquiry form
When you write through the form I process your name, company, service, message and the contact details you leave (email or phone), to reply and prepare a quote. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The enquiry reaches me by email through Resend, the service the site uses to send messages, acting as a processor. Resend is based in the United States: the transfer relies on the safeguards set out in Articles 44 and following of the GDPR.
Email and WhatsApp
If you write to me directly, I use what you send only to reply and, if we work together, for the job.
Browsing
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., which logs technical data about visits (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and operation. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.
Analytics, only with your consent
If you accept them, I use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) to know how many people visit, where they come from and which pages they read, and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) to see where people click and how far they scroll. Without your consent these tools do not start. You can change your mind at any time. Vercel Inc. and Microsoft Corporation are based in the United States: for them too the transfer relies on the safeguards set out in Articles 44 and following of the GDPR.
Cookies
- Technical: one cookie that remembers your cookie choice, for 6 months. For the current visit only, the browser also remembers whether you have seen the home page intro: it is not personal data and never leaves your device.
- Analytics, only with consent: those of Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) and Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID, ANONCHK).
How long
I keep enquiries as long as needed to reply and, if a job follows, for the length of the engagement and as required by law. Analytics data is kept for 14 months at most.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. You can withdraw consent to analytics at any time, without affecting what was done before. If you think your data is not handled correctly, you can complain to the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
